Marvel Animated Features premieres two all new action-packed films together on one release. Hulk Vs. Wolverine and Hulk Vs. Thor. Both of which are action packed. I'll try and keep the details of the story to the bare minimum in this two for one review.
Hulk Vs. Wolverine
This is the first disc in the series and weirdly enough I watched it second. The feature is about 33 minutes long and starts out with the Hulk crossing the Canadian boarder. Wolverine is then sent up by Department H to try and take care of him. This feature includes (obviously) Hulk and Wolverine, but also includes, Deadpool, Lady Deathstrike, Omega Red and Sabretooth. The feature also touches a bit on Wolverine's past as part of the plot. I would have to say that I was pretty pleased with the flim. Yes, it does have dismemberment and blood. So it isn't suggested you let the little ones watch it. The only thing that was a let down for me for the ending. They just ended the flim and left you wanting more. And saying to yourself, that's it? But all in all it was pretty good. Hulk Vs. Thor This is the second disc in the series and the best one in my opinion. The feature ran about 45 minutes. The story takes place in Asgard while Odin is in his Odinsleep. Loki teleports the Hulk to Asgard and take control of him. He trys then to use the Hulk to kill Thor and take over Asgard for himself. I'll leave it there. I don't want to ruin it for people. But I think they should of changed the name of the flim to the Hulk Vs. Asgard because that's pretty much what it comes down to. Excellent...excellent flim. I can't say enough about it. This one is a little better to show the little ones. As I don't remember any dismemberment and only minor blood. But of course watch the flim before you let the little ones. This flim is just perfect. Great story and great ending. It doesn't leave you hanging like the last one. Overall I'd recommend that you buy this is you are a comic book fan. Myself, I'm not so much a comic book fan as I'm a fan of the cartoons/movies made from comic books. I guess it could be the same thing in a way. I can't say much more. Great flim and I hope they make more.
